GREEN TEAM ESTABLISHED IN HILLSDALE
The Mayor and Council have established a “Green Team Advisory
Committee” to help build a model of government to benefit our residents
with ‘green’ community initiatives which will be easy to replicate and
affordable to implement. The mission statement is to identify,
prioritize, select, and enable sustainability initiatives that will
benefit the residents and business people of Hillsdale by 1) raising
community awareness; 2) engaging citizen volunteerism; 3) maintaining
fiscal responsibility; and 4) attaining “Sustainability Jersey”
certification.
